Most automatic bollards on the market today are still controlled with key switches, fobs, or a separate keypad bolted on as an afterthought. Boliq started with a simple question: what if raising and lowering a bollard was as easy as unlocking your phone.
We specify our bollards with our manufacturer, build the connected control electronics and the app ourselves, and install them. Every bollard works from its key fobs out of the box, and with the app and SIM it reports its own status, logs its activity and can be managed from anywhere.
We are clear about what our bollards are for. They control everyday vehicle access and stop safely if they meet resistance; they are not crash tested, and we say so, so nobody relies on them for something they were not built to do.
Two key fobs come with every bollard. The Boliq app, built and supported by us, adds control from anywhere, schedules and alerts.
A bollard that fails silently is a liability. On the app subscription, ours report their status and alert you if one reports a fault or loses power.
We design the bollards, build the app that controls them, and install through our own approved network, so nothing falls into the gap between three different suppliers.
