Yes, for Boliq Home on a standard driveway. We confirm your site is eligible for the fixed price from a short questionnaire and a few photos when you order, rather than sending someone out. Boliq Site and Boliq Guard still get a proper site survey, those sites vary too much to price sight unseen.
These surfaces can't reliably be cut and reinstated to match the original finish, so they're not covered by the fixed online price. No, Boliq Home is battery powered as standard, so there's no trenching or electrical work. If you'd prefer a mains-fed supply, it steps down to 24V DC through a power supply unit, an extra £95 plus £35 per metre of cable run from the nearest suitable power point.
We take a £500 deposit per bollard when you order online, with the remaining balance due once installation is complete. If your photos show your site needs a bespoke quote instead, no payment is taken until you've accepted the revised price. See our order terms for the full payment terms.
Once an installation date is booked, deposits aren't currently refundable except where we're unable to fulfil your order. Yes. You can invite household members, staff or contractors to your bollard with their own login and their own permission level, so you don't need to share a single code or fob.
No. As long as your bollard has a network connection, you can raise, lower and check its status from anywhere you have signal, not just when you're standing next to it.
Every Boliq bollard includes battery backup as standard, which keeps it operating through a mains outage. Our Guard range also offers a solar power option for sites without a convenient mains connection.

Battery powered installations, our standard option, generally avoid the planning triggers that come with hard-wired electrical work, though this still depends on your local authority and any restrictions on your property. Public highway or town centre schemes usually need highways approval, which we help with during the survey.
In most cases, yes. If a bollard or barrier is already installed, we can usually reuse the existing foundation and power supply, which reduces cost and disruption. This is confirmed during the site survey.
